Debate with Open Theists

“Remember this, and be assured; Recall it to mind, you transgressors. “Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’; Calling a bird of prey from the east, The man of My purpose from a far country. Truly I have spoken; truly I will bring it to pass. I have planned it, surely I will do it.
Isaiah 46:8–11

I am currently engaged in a debate with Open Theists on Greg Boyd’s site.

The God of the Bible is omniscient, omnipotent, and He is the self-determining agent. To say that some of the future is “partially open” and that “God must wait on our Libertarian free will” is appaling. This will be remembered in the same category as the Pelagian/Semi-Pelagian controversy.

Open Theism, Molinism, and Process Theology are all heresy.

“Also the Glory of Israel will not lie or change His mind; for He is not a man that He should change His mind.“
1 Samuel 15:29
