First Sermon and Articles

The following is my first "sermon," or I should say my attempt at expositional preaching. It's rough, but not bad for just thinking off the top of my head (nothing in front of me except for Scripture).

The Meaning of Grace (Ephesians 2:1-10)

Also, here are a few articles that I have been delving into that I suggest:

  1. Was Anyone Saved At The Cross? by James White
  2. Is Calvinism Inconsistent with Free Will? by Loraine Boettner
  3. The Nature of Freewill by Peter Voss
  4. GIRS Summary Studies in Reformed Theology: The Trinity by Bob Burridge
  5. The Institutes of the Christian Religion: The Knowledge of God Has Been Naturally Implanted in the Human Mind by John Calvin
  6. How Wide is the Narrow Road? PART ONE: "The Gospel of Exceptions": Inclusivism by Steve Camp

Lastly, I would suggest hearing James White respond to Dave Hunt's eisegesis on Romans 9.

  1. That is a real pleasant and assuring sermon to listen to Chris! I don't think anybody could walk away not understanding Ephesians 2. I am going to listen to it again this weekend. "Faith is a present"....nice!

  2. Chris, that was fantastic! I've been studying Ephesians, and your explanation of grace helped me to appreciate this passage even more. God has really blessed you with the gift of teaching and sharing. Your passion to spread the love of Christ is such an encouragement to me!
