Here is the mis­sion and vision for Bridges that Trinh and I com­posed for the WSU Cru­sade leader’s handbook.

Bridges Inter­na­tional strives to clearly share the Gospel with every inter­na­tional stu­dent on our cam­pus while mobi­liz­ing all the redeemed to pro­claim the Gospel to the nations.

Vision

Bridges rec­og­nizes that the com­mand of God to bless all the nations (Gen 12:1–3; Psalms 67:1–7) encom­passes reach­ing all peo­ples with the Gospel, and we hence­forth strive to reach all peo­ples on our cam­pus with the Gospel. Bridges uti­lizes Bible stud­ies, social events, out­reaches, and a con­ver­sa­tion part­ner pro­gram among other means to con­vey the Gospel to inter­na­tional students.

The task also includes mobi­liza­tion (Rom 10:14). Inter­na­tional min­istry has var­i­ous and spe­cific chal­lenges. Bridges Inter­na­tional serves as a resource to aid other stu­dents, both native and inter­na­tional, to more effec­tively share the Gospel to all the nations (Mat 28:19; Acts 1:8; Rom 15:20; Rev 7:9). We look for­ward to the return of our Lord while rec­og­niz­ing that His return will not hap­pen until all the peo­ples have heard the good news (Mat 24:14), because God ordained that, ‘My name will be great among the nationsâ?¦’ (Mal 1:11).
