What I’d be really interested to know is what are your thoughts about these images you’ve posted?
Sometimes Christianity ≠ Jesus.
I’m concerned for the Church today for a number of reasons. One significant concern is that instead of the Church of Jesus Christ influencing and transforming the culture, we have a “movement” going on where the culture is influencing the Church. Instead of using the gifts and abilities God has given us to know Him and to glorify Him, we seem to tend to recreate God in our own image and then to rationalize doing things our own way and call it “church”, emerging, conversant, ancient-future, or whatever. Kinda reminds me of some of the folks in ancient Athens hanging around to hear what new things somebody’s come up with to entertain us or appeal to our personal phillosophies. God help us to be faithful, to be obedient, to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness. Amen.
