Shameless Plug: Bloglines
I know many of you who read my blog also read many others. Often, it is cumbersome to go to each and every site to catch up on your friends. Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a place we could go to that would have links to all the posts of our friends in one spot? Well, I have such a place.
Bloglines (www.bloglines.com) is a free utility that acts as a blogroll. That means you can add friends who use Xanga, Blogger, Livejournal, or if they use a program such as Wordpress (such as mine) or Moveable Type. Just go there, sign up, and then you can add each of your friends. You can also download a little notifier that sits in your system tray, and it actually notifies you when one of your friends has posted a new post!
You can then order your friend’s blogs into categories, and you have many other options to play with. I can’t promote this utility enough. You can view my blogroll (note: if you are not listed, don’t get offended I just list people who update regularly).
