In part 3 of this essay, we exam­ine the bib­li­cal and the­o­log­i­cal argu­ments against the view that Jesus is eter­nally the Son. In exam­in­ing these proof texts we find them insuf­fi­cient to dis­prove the truth that there is an eter­nal author­ity struc­ture in the Godhead.

In part of this essay, we exam­ine the­o­log­i­cal rea­sons and bib­li­cal sup­port for the view that Jesus is eter­nally the Son. Through an inspec­tion of the care­fully cho­sen word­ing and titles used in the New Tes­ta­ment, we can see more clearly sup­port for this vital doctrine.
