Imperishable Inheritance

Paul David Tripp in his book, Instru­ments in the Redeemer’s Hands, reminds us that often we don’t rebuke because we love our­selves. True love for neigh­bor neces­si­tates a godly rebuke when in sin.

A won­der­ful pas­sage in the pow­er­ful book of Gala­tians has a lot to say about the nature of our lib­erty. Our lib­erty is not for us but ulti­mately for the good of others.

Recently, while inves­ti­gat­ing the nec­es­sary ele­ments of a local church, I’ve had inter­est­ing dis­cus­sions with men in lead­er­ship posi­tions that advo­cate the house church model inside a larger local church.
